Plantastic Life (Une Vie Plantastique) is an interactive art installation that promotes living being, the power of plants and their relationship with us: Human Being. This installation is inviting users to approach their hands to the plant which is going to play on the magnetic field. By using the data of the disturbed magnetic field of the plant, we propose a visual and sound experience established in a 3d visual environment composed by abstract 'plantastic' characters.

Scenography
Shadow of the plant on a white sheet. This silhouette is the embodiment of a living being plant (nature).

Crafting of the installation
Marine lining the bottom of the flowerpot with sticky copper.

Sketch made before the realization as we imagine the setup and where the art installation could take place.

Choice of the plant
Not all the plant could be really suitable for this experimentation. We choose a Ficus for it's long-lasting without a lot of needs and it's amazing big leaves shapes.
